Young Bristol trip to Hannover

By Events No Comments

Young Bristol took 11 young people (3 of which were from Avon Youth Club) to our twinned city, Hannover, for a 4 days residential. The trip included a variety of German culture, youth work discussions and physical activities designed to give the young people exposure to different cultures and opportunities. The trip was a great success with young people meeting counterparts from German Youth clubs, making friends and broadening their horizons. We hope to keep in contact with the German group and we hope to make this a regular occurrence

The programme has been kindly supported by the Bristol Hanover Council and Jon Finch, of the Museums Team at Bristol City Council.

What a great experience, this was a first time activity for the Club and its members.

We were lucky that this activity was funded by Tennyson Lodge In Clevedon, thank you for their support.

Our young members had a great time and were thankful for the opportunity to do this. We hope to do the same next year.
